Click on sub-sector name for more information: Entertainment & Large Venues Faith Based Venues Sector Coordinator: Jeff Zisner, CPP Jeff Zisner grew up in Culver City, California and is proud to be a native of Southern California. He is a graduate of Culver City High School and California State University, Northridge with a degree in business management and psychology. Throughout his career, Jeff has dedicated his talents to reinventing the contracted security and investigations industry. His vision is of contracted security teams seamlessly integrated at client sites by focusing on providing high quality customer service personnel and threat prevention instead of simply reaction. Jeff began working in the security industry as an event security guard. Recognizing and developing improvements for the shortcomings of security staff, line supervisors and management lead to his promotion to Operations Manager for a local security firm. Leaving the firm to pursue opportunities as a consultant and surveillance investigator, Jeff gained valuable experience conducting threat assessments, varied levels of security operations and complex investigations. Today, Jeff is a Certified Protection Professional by ASIS and the Owner/Qualified Manager of AEGIS Private Security & Investigations. AEGIS specializes in high-end customer centric security, investigation, training and consulting services. Jeff can still be found in the field working posts alongside AEGIS employees, managing large scale functions and conducting surveillance when he is isn't busy managing the day-to-day business of his firm. Sector Committee Information Mission To exercise exemplary leadership to ensure the safety and security of the public while visiting large venues by establishing a cohesive partnership between the public and private sectors.  Goals 1. To empower private sector representatives with knowledge and skills they can use to ensure the safety and security of both employees and public at businesses and venues they represent. 2. To provide valuable tools and contacts to increase communication among members of similar businesses within the private sector and with various levels of law enforcement. 3. To empower the private sector to become observant of their environment, to know their limitations and understand where they can go for help.
